This one is not printed. The design is laser-engraved into solid wood, so THE DAY WE SAID YES, the Roman numeral date, the double-rule box and the sprig are burned into the grain rather than sitting on top of it. That means the mark is permanent: it will not lift, peel or fade with washing, and it darkens gently as the board ages, which is the opposite of how a printed surface behaves.
It works as a working board and as a serving piece, so a couple can carry cheese, bread and charcuterie straight to the table on it. Hand wash only, dry it standing on edge, and rub in food-safe mineral oil now and then to stop the wood drying out.
